The curved front straps give the Persephone its distinctive appearance and hold the forefoot within an open sandal upper. Non-stretch stripping helps the upper retain its shape.

A latex sports orthotic with integrated metatarsal support provides cushioning. The lining and sock have antibacterial properties, and the heel tips are designed to resist slipping.
