Date, location and entries

Sunday 25 October 2026 at South-West Italian Club, 13 White Street, East Bunbury. AID lists 9am–6pm; this is the event window, not a confirmed doors-open time. Entries use DSA and close 11 October.

Choose the correct category

The syllabus covers Ballroom, Latin and New Vogue, plus Special Dance, vision-impaired and ParaDance events. Recreational/U16 Rising Star entrants are judged individually while partnered; this differs from solo events. Juvenile solo and specified first-year events have syllabus and costume restrictions.

Fees and admission

The syllabus states a $4 fee per event, paid through DSA. Late entries are discretionary and attract a $30 late fee. Admission is separate: follow AID’s ticket information and confirm the current price, inclusions and doors-open time with secretary@aiddance.org.au.

Programme and event changes

This is a DSWA State Team ranking event. Events with fewer than four entries may be combined or cancelled. Check the final programme and permitted age-group moves for your exact category before arranging the day.

Your preparation checklist

Make two checks before committing: that your competition entries are accepted and that you have the correct admission arrangement. Plan transport to East Bunbury against your own reporting time. If the programme is not yet available, leave flexibility in return travel. Keep proof of payment and the organiser’s confirmation with your event-number list.

Check the shoes you already train in before deciding whether anything needs replacing. Use our fit and sizing guide and shoe-care and heel-protector guide. Trial changes during practice, with enough time to resolve fit issues before competing.
