ADS WA Super Stars Championship — 2026 Reference & Competitor Guide
Share
The WA Super Stars pack explains several practical details that are easy to overlook: separate admission, a cash back-number deposit, and limited flexibility when a dancer or coach enters multiple categories.

2026 entries
Entries for 27 September closed at 8pm Western Standard Time on 4 September. The event used DSA’s portal. The published fee was AUD $5 per event, including administration. Accepted late entries attracted $30; no entries were accepted on the day.
Admission and back numbers
Admission was $30 adult, $15 under 16 and $20 pensioner/health-care-card holder. One Companion Card was accepted. The refundable back-number deposit was $10 cash. EFTPOS attracted a 2% surcharge.
Categories and restrictions
The DSA ranking event included graded/Open, recreational, solo, coached and inclusive categories. Competitors generally used their own age group and grade, with an exception for U21 amateur couples in Adult Open. The organiser warned that entering multiple categories could leave insufficient breaks.
What to confirm next time
Ask ADS WA for the next edition’s date, doors-open time, final programme and current fees. Do not reuse the September deadline. Follow the official listing and new syllabus rather than an old entry screen.
Your preparation checklist
Bring a small separate cash amount for any confirmed deposit, and keep your admission and event-fee receipts together. Before adding another category, mark the likely costume and partner changes and discuss them with your coach. A bigger entry list is only useful if you can prepare properly for each call.
Check the shoes you already train in before deciding whether anything needs replacing. Use our fit and sizing guide and shoe-care and heel-protector guide. Trial changes during practice, with enough time to resolve fit issues before competing.
